Hi All,
Seen a good increase in the number of tag-holders ''Supporter of TWC'' to the forum recently.
Was wondering whether a mini-carnival styled ''Open Field Sales Day or Night'' could be organised amongst all vendors for all members of TWC (can consider extending to other like-spirited car forums). Can be held on their shop premise and convoy organised to ''pitch-stop'' from each point.
I also know easy to have an idea but the logistics and putting together the event (s) will take some blood and sweat and vendors' willingness ($) to pull through.
Sole purposes are to allow members to enjoy good pricing for ''poisons'' and for vendors to introduce and pitch a ''louder sales voice'' beyond the forum, generating new customer base to strengthen sales volume.
Anyways, just a suggestion as I see most if not all vendors getting ''forum-lag'' after initial 1-2 months of enthusiastic postings....good for both members (new/old poisons at gd prices)and them (stocks and sales move means can give more discounts and maybe get a new or bigger shop space  )
Pls feel free to add on any other suggestions and there is an endless pit of enhancements to individualise our WISHes....G1-3 united and yet able to stand alone....that's e beauty of our rides.

| Good idea...can do open boot sales in open places like Stadium car park etc....but I don't have anything to sell |

It'l be a good get together with families.
The car boot sale can be of any items from car accessories to daily use
products or even second hand stuffs.We can clear our stores at the same time
make some money $$$$$

Hi Bro Zek,
Not too sure how to go about it leh.....hv been to only 2 car boot sales so far and was there to buy cos nothing to sell too
Better to let another bro/sis with some experience start and I will follow closely behind to learn......e vendors can also participate....car boot sales is a gd idea.....and as bro stealth mentioned, families can get together too and be a part of e event.
Any volunteers to help make this event a reality? Can all those bros' above help out? The more e merrier....many hands maketh this type of work light and more fun....

I think first of all is the location.Easy access of amenities eg.food,toilet,parking,shelter in case of downpour & etc.
Next will be the participants.
We can do a brainstorm & suggestions.  |

Hi All,
If e founders + mods hv no violent objections, I will suggest an evening meetup in March (either Kallang Macdonalds/Kallang KFC) to allow all interested to come brainstorm and discuss on feasibility of holding one under TWC banner.
From past experience, it is always more pleasant and fun if all volunteers commit willingly instead of being ''arrowed'' to assist with various duties.....so, please be willing to lead/guide/assist/follow etc whichever e case may be. Experience in holding such events will surely be a godsend as then, we do nt hv to go in blind and from scratch per se.
Possible meeting dates are either on 16th or 23rd March (Wednesdays). About 7.30pm-10pm? There is likely no perfect date/time to suit or accommodate everyone but it does not mean that you cannot attend or contribute in follow-up meetings.
Shall we hv a show of names of those ok to come for e meeting on either dates? So that I will not be e lone ranger that evening lah.
Btw, I am not e chairperson but doing my part to help co-ordinate said proposed event. Whether e event will take place depends on all of us, so, please do not sit on e fence or adopt wait-n-see.
Some tentative items to discuss:
1. Date/venue/time of Car Boot Sale
2. Protocol required? Permits?
3. Fees?
4. Participants?
5. Any sponsorship?
6. Banner + publicity matters?
7. Vendors' involvement?
8. Traffic + crowd control?
9. Drinks/Food?
10. Logistics of positioning of WISHES
11. Any other matters
As this is still under feedback stage, will not create a new thread for now....will do so once we decide event is a 'can do'.

Updates-Proposed Car Boot Sales
Hi All,
As there will be an earlier meeting this Sat, 6th March at 9.30pm (Kallang MacDONALDS) to discuss and plan for events throughout the year, bro Anip has kindly agreed to hv this topic brought up for discussion and/or consideration at said mtg.
Hence, do look out for further developments (if any) on this topic under ''Events & MUs'' folder. Not to duplicate efforts, the proposed mtg dates of either 16th or 23rd March will not be held.
